1. About Our SMS Program
Dependable IT Services offers a text messaging (SMS) program to customers who have provided their mobile phone number and consented to receive text messages from us.
2. Types of Messages You May Receive
By opting in, you agree to receive text messages related to the services you have requested from Dependable IT Services, including but not limited to:
- Appointment / Support Notifications — reminders and confirmations about scheduled IT service appointments.
- Service Updates — updates on the status or resolution of your support requests or tickets.
Example messages:
Dependable IT Services: Your onsite IT appointment is confirmed for tomorrow, Aug. 8, between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Reply C to confirm or call us if you need to reschedule. Reply STOP to opt out.
Dependable IT Services: Your support request #4821 has been resolved. If you need additional assistance, reply to this message or call our help desk. Reply STOP to opt out.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies and is transactional in nature; you will only receive messages related to appointments, support requests, or service updates tied to your account. There is no fixed number of messages per month.
4. Opt-Out (STOP) Instructions
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text “STOP” to the number you received the message from. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to rejoin, sign up as you did the first time, and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
5. Help (HELP) Instructions
If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or contact us directly.
6. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. This applies whether you send us a message or we send one to you. You will need to check with your mobile carrier to see if there are any charges for standard SMS messaging and data usage.
7. Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information, including your mobile phone number.
